Penis have a crack

Few days ago, a friend asked me, in between his penis and the anus, there is a raised skin, no pain, no swelling, but is extra. He was puzzled, but only his own, or someone else?

This is not the first time I heard the question. Take it easy, every man has a "excess skin". The ridge of skin called the perineal Raphe, but most people don't know what it's called. Some of the perineal Raphe has not been noticed, there are some very prominent. More interesting is that the men and their partners can use terms such as "scar", "Ridge" to describe this site.

The origins of the perineal Raphe is peculiar. In the early stages of fetal development, men and women are basically the same, male and female genitals look similar. In the womb at about 7 weeks, genital mutilation with male or female characteristics. When a male genital tissue deformations developed into the scrotum and penis, the way they set constitutes the perineal Raphe.

After the formation of male genitalia, perineal Raphe extends across the underside of the penis, from down in the middle of the testicle through, along the perineum to the anus. Some men don't exist in this region, but there are some men would find this crack is very sensitive to stimulation can evoke their libido.

No matter what this site is and can comfortably observe the genitals and are familiar with them, it's a good thing. Both men and women, should be looking at their genitals, aware of their appearance, are familiar with the sensation. This also helps when an exception occurs, and health-care personnel in a timely manner.
